LOVED, LOVED, LOVED playing sand/beach volleyball at Sandbox Sports. We have 4 great volleyball players and we headed to get some beach time in the middle of a dreary Seattle winter day.
We had a few minutes while waiting for one of the girls to show up so we played a little badminton. I haven’t played that since HS PE with Mrs. Martin.
No shots of us actually playing a game since we were all to busy having fun.
I told Owen that night that the best part of playing in the sand is that I felt good/young again. You could dive for the ball with no fear of bruising, being sore or floor burns. I loved playing and once again found those quiet muscles which haven’t been used recently.
We are heading back on the 28th of March so start planning now to be in town or be open that morning.
