Adventure Tuesday – Seattle Scavenger Hunt

On We had our Seattle scavenger hunt. I had so much fun with Margaret and Debbie. It was a beautiful and clear day in Seattle.

We headed out with a map, questions, pen and phone camera.

The map has thirty circled points with a question and 3 possible answers to it.  You have to use the map (orienteering map – streets but not always street names) to find where you are going.  It has been a number of years since I have read one of these maps, but so happy to see that the ability was still there.  I haven’t lost all my memory or ability to do things.

We ended up with 380 points plus an extra 120 which we gave ourselves for going to see the Teddy Bear Suite and the Gingerbread Houses (how can you to go Seattle in Dec and not see those things).

When you have done a few of these scavenger hunts you start to look for odd or uniques items when you look at the world.

This is one of my favorite oddities that we saw.

Looking forward to January we have so many fun things planned: rock climbing, snow shoeing, hiking and tubing on the snow.
