Adventure Tuesday – Biking along Alki Beach

This is another thing I’ve wanted to do in Seattle.  Alki Beach is in West Seattle and has amazing views of the Seattle Skyline and you can have lots of fun watching ferry’s and tanker ships.

We took our bikes and headed out along the 2 1/2 mile trail from close to the West Seattle Bridge to the lighthouse and then rode back.  It is a flat paved trail and was perfect for kids.  I am hoping on a warmer day to head back with the kids this summer.

Lots of fun seeing a couple different groups of scuba divers going into the water.  As much as I’d love to learn to scuba dive – I’d really like the water to be a LOT warmer.  55 degree water just sounds cold.

Discovered Washington’s very own Statue of Liberty.

Most of all loved spending the morning with an amazing friend.  I sure love her.  Loved all the places we are exploring!
