Day three was planned to be a lower activity day so that people could take it easy. In the morning Kim had created a nature scavenger hunt. The kids took paper bags and camera around to discover lots of great treasures! My nephew really wanted to get a flower that was attached to a lily pad (don’t know the official name) so he want into the lake to get one.
Next the kids play a great game. Drip, Drip, Drop. The AZ cousins taught this to everyone and I can now see why kids from AZ know this game. It is a lot like Duck, Duck, Goose with the only difference is that you drip a drop of water on each head until you Drop the whole glass on the person you are getting or Goosing. Lots of fun on a hot day when you are in your swim suit.
Learning new tricks also happened.
Some when fishing, some hiked, others worked and others just rested.
That afternoon a large majority went on a hike to a waterfall. It was a bit of a drive, but worth it.
The hike was a half mile or so. Distance wasn’t far, but the trail was not smooth and had a number of rocky sections. Brett did great. He held my arm most the time. Uncle Bryant helped out when it got steep, really narrow or too rocky.
Arriving at the waterfall was great.
Once we got there the kids started to play in the pools and river. Lots of fun.
